This is third mock up design. This idea is based on mathematics. Mathematics symbols are equations have always evoked the sense of monotony and boredom. However when these symbols are put together they create something new, unique and interesting, which defines the concept of mesobored.

The first image below is the splash page. I copied a series of equations and at the end made it equate to ‘mesobored’. Therefore, when users click it, they will navigate to the index page – the second image below. It is a matrix of numbers and letters. These numbers and letters will automatically change itself similar to the flashr banner. Each of the numbers and letters are buttons, so if the user clicks on a number it will randomly display a larger version of a ‘mesobored’ work. The ‘about us’, ‘contact’ and ‘links’ pages will also follow the same format and style of this page.






This is the second mock up design. It is based on Nick’s layout idea of a “blank white screen with the text in the middle "mesobored" then a single row of thumbnails come in across the middle of the page. The number of thumbnails could then be based on how wide the users screen is and it would keep it very clean and simple looking. When they then click on one image a larger version comes up over the top.”



This is the first mock up design. The thumbnail images are of our works created for ‘mesobored’. These images will individually crossfade to other images, every few minutes; Similar to the flashr banner. When the users click a thumbnail, a larger view of it will load in the main white frame, as seen on the page.

Hey guys, just had a thought on the train on the way home. What if we just have the blank white screen with the text in the middle "mesobored" then a single row of the thumbnails come in accross it in the middle of the page. The number could then be based on how wide the users screen is and it would keep it very clean and simple looking. When they then click on one image a larger version comes up over the top.
Let me know what you think, and if that makes sense.
